Southern states of India have got their own charm and Tamil
Nadu is the most enchanting of them. The beaches
of Tamil Nadu are as mesmerizing as its culture
and heritage. Marina Beach in Chennai is the second longest
beach in the world and is a must visit. The vast stretches
of sand lashed by the Bay of Bengal are one of the 'not-to-miss'
attractions in Tamil Nadu. Elliot's Beach in Chennai was
once the place of relaxation and sun bathing but it is now
a favorite shooting location for Tamil movies.Tamilnadu cavers
the mostly South India Beaches.
Other beaches in Tamil Nadu are Mahabalipuram Beach,
Rameshwaram Beach, Kanyakumari Beach
and Covelong Beach.

MARINA BEACH |
Marina Beach in Tamilnadu is the second longest beach in the world
and is a major tourist attraction. It stretches about 13 kms from
the Harbour to the Santhome Cathedral. The Memorials such as Anna
Samadhi, MG R Samadhi are located on the sea front. This section
of the beach road is known as Anna Square. An aquarium, of tropical
and marine fishes and a swimming pool are situated adjacent to
each other.
