OVERVIEW
Gajner Palace, an incomparable jewel in the Thar Desert is built on
the embankment of a lake. Built by H.H. Maharaja Sir Ganga Singhji
of Bikaner, this Grand Heritage property is spread over 6000 acres.

of the Raj. During the reign of Maharaja
Ganga Singhji, this palace was used for grand shoots and lavish
entertainment. Christmas season was often celebrated with
prearranged duck and Imperial Sand Grouse shoots. Royalty, both,
National and International, Viceroys and other dignitaries were
invited on this grand occasion.

ROOMS
HISTORIC SUITE:
The 11 Historic Suites at the Hotel Gajner Palace offer Authentic
old photographs of the Royal Family; extra large rooms, with period
furniture, old photographs and curios large bathroom, original
palace furniture, decor, and lake facing suites. Separate dressing
room and sitting cum dining arrangement, centrally air-conditioned,
with international direct dial telephone, satellite television,
mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities.
DELUXE ROOMS:
The 31 deluxe rooms at the Gajner Palace Hotel have large bathroom,
original palace furniture, decor, and lake facing room.
CUISINE
Mirage Restaurant serves Continental, Indian, Chinese and Rajasthani
Cuisine. Mrigtrishna Bar offers Indian and Foreign Liquor. A fully
automated kitchen with the latest equipment has recently been
designed.
BANQUET & CONFERENCES :
The former royal residence of Maharaja Karni Singhji of Bikaner is
today a Royal Retreat of the HRH Group of Hotels. Karni Bhawan
Palace offers venues for banquets, special dinners and corporate
celebrations. Conference room for 20; Lawns and top terrace as
venues for banquets, weddings and dinners; special dinners at
Junagarh Fort and sanctuary. As many as 1000 guests can attend
casual buffet style functions and upto 200 guests for sit-down
dinners.
HEALTH / RECREATION
The recreation facilities at Gajner Palace include: Billiards, Jeep,
Horse and Camel Safaris, Lawn Tennis, Cycling, Boating, Bird and
Wildlife viewing and Turban Tying. In addition, the city of Gajner
offers a number of attractions. The outskirts and surrounding areas
of Gajner also have a number of interesting and must-see places.
Solar powered boats are used on Gajner Lake to minimise pollution
and maintain the beauty of the lake and surrounding areas.
