Overview
Shiv Niwas Palace, an erstwhile royal residence is a majestic
crescent shaped building located on the southern end of the City
Palace Complex. Shiv Niwas Palace has been
awarded the 'Heritage Award for Excellence' in 1997-98 and the
National Tourism Award for the best heritage hotel in 'Heritage
Grand' category 1998-99 and |

2000-01 by the Department of Tourism, Government
of India.

Imperial Suite has Green Decor and Glass Inlay work on the
walls, large sitting room - Room No. 17 and Fountain in the bedroom
with silver coated furniture - Room No. 19.
Royal Suite or the Honeymoon suite has painted dome ceiling -
Room No. 18. Red Decor and Glass Inlay work on the walls - Room No.
5. Blue Decor and Glass Inlay work on the walls - Room No. 4.
Historic Suite has private balcony and antique furniture.
Terrace Suite has private terrace, balcony and beds with
regal canopies.
Deluxe Rooms have city view and Private terrace.
Cuisine-
Paantya: Multi-cuisine restaurant serving specialty Indian
