beautifully landscaped gardens, decorative fountains and pavilions
located on the famous Pichola Lake, giving it a genuine Rajasthani

Rooms-
Elegantly appointed rooms that range from the palatial Kohinoor
suite to deluxe rooms. Each features a seating area and balcony.
Luxurious marble bathrooms with Victorian style freestanding
bathtubs overlook a private walled courtyard. The superior deluxe
rooms have a semi-private infinity edge swimming pool off their
balconies, in addition to a private relaxation and dining pavilion.
The suites have private swimming pools and pavilions for dining and
relaxation. There are 66 Deluxe Rooms, 19 Superior Deluxe Rooms -
all rooms feature a personal bar, tea and coffee maker, telephone
with data port, satellite television, compact disc and digital video
player and an electronic safe. 4 Deluxe Suites-The suites have a
living room, luxurious marble bathrooms and steam showers. 1
Presidential Suite- It features two bedrooms, a living room with
working fireplaces and a 20-metre private swimming pool overlooking
the City Palace and Lake Pichola.
Cuisine-
Surya Mahal: The main dining room of Udaivilas, offers
Continental and Asian cuisines. It is open for breakfast lunch and
dinner.
The courtyard adjoining the restaurant is the perfect setting for al
fresco dining. Gas torches cast a sense of drama over live
performances of music and dance in the evenings.
Udai Mahal: The Indian Restaurant: Udai Mahal, the speciality
Indian restaurant, offers traditional Rajasthani and North Indian
cuisine and its special menu has been developed following meticulous
research in the traditional royal kitchens of Rajasthan. Udai Mahal
is open only for dinner.
The domes over Udai Mahal represent the night sky and the Udaipur
cityscape. The vibrancy and richness of Indian and Rajasthani
culture are reflected in the blue, green and gold colour scheme.
Bar: The Bar, warm and inviting with hand knotted carpets and
comfortable seating, offers a breathtaking view of the Lake Pichola
and the City Palace.
It offers afternoon tea, a wide selection of international beverages
and wines, cocktails, coffees and cigars. Ideal for a relaxed
evening, it has chess, backgammon, scrabble and a collection of
books on India and Rajasthan.
Poolside: A range of ice-cold cocktails and drinks,
refreshing salads, snacks or home made ice cream and sorbets are
available at the poolside.
