The tour has been innovatively designed
to combine the best of India and Nepal, where in 13 nights &
14 days, you would have an insight on north of India and
Nepal. Everyday life and culture in the rural areas,
spiritualism with Hinduism, Buddhism and last but not the
least tracking the Royal Bengal Tiger and the only place to
locate Single Horn Rhino an elephants back. Two lunch
venues
have been carefully chosen which besides a tongue teasing
cuisine also offer a chance to visit few pristine sights
without consuming much of your time.
Day 01
Arrive Delhi A warm welcome on arrival
at airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 02
Delhi Morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Old
Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Mahatma Gandhi
Memorial at Rajghat. Later in the afternoon visit Qutub
Minar, Chhatarpur Temple, Humayun's Tomb and The Bahai
Temple. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03
Delhi / Jaipur Drive along the national highway 8 and
arrive at Samode palace for an elaborate lunch served in a
grand royal fashion. Continue drive to Jaipur and check in
at your hotel. Evening explore the colourful bazaars
witnessing the locals involved in their daily affairs.
Overnight at the hotel
Day 04 Jaipur A busy
day of sightseeing includes Amber Fort, the City Palace,
the Palace of Winds & Jantar Mantar. Also visit the forts
of Nahargarh and Jaigarh. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 Jaipur / Agra
After an early breakfast proceed to Agra en-route visiting
the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Agra and
check-in at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 Agra In the
morning proceed for the city sightseeing and visit Taj
Mahal, Agra Fort and Sikandra. The evening gives you an
option to visit the legendary Taj once again at sun set.
Overnight and stay at the hotel.
Day 07 Agra / Khajuraho
Travel by train to Jhansi. Assistance on arrival and drive
to Orchha. Lunch at Orchha resorts on the banks of river
Betwa. After lunch drive to Khajuraho. In the evening
witness a special dance program at the Kandharia
Auditorium. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08Khajuraho /
Varanasi Morning tour of the temples of khajuraho.
Return to hotel and check out to catch a flight to
Varanasi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to your
hotel. In the evening visit the Ghats on the banks of the
rive. Also enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges and participate
in the evening Aarti ceremony. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 Varanasi / Delhi Very early in the morning before sun rise return to
the River Ganges to witness the morning rituals and
prayers of the devotees who begin their day with a dip in
the river. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out
to visit one of the most important sites of Buddhism -
Sarnath. Later transfer to airport for flight to Delhi.
Assistance on arrival and transfer to a restaurant near
the airport where you could freshen up and have dinner
before continuing on to the International airport for
return flight home.
Optional extension to Nepal:-
Day 09 Varanasi / Kathmandu Transfer to airport for
flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival assistance and transfer
to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to either relax or
take an optional tour into the city and enjoy
souvenir shopping and bargain hunting in the local shops
and stalls of Kathmandu . Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Kathmandu Tour the city and visit the most important
Buddhist and Hindu sites. The tour guide remains at your
disposal to recommend you various options of fine dining
and shopping. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel
Day 11Kathmandu /
Royal Chitwan Track the Royal Bengal Tiger and Single
Horn Rhinos. Then take a short flight to Bharatpur and
continue drive to the interiors of the jungle where we
find you a jungle retreat.
Day 12Royal
Chitwan This day is at your will and the choice is
upto you to either stay back and relax in your cottage or
to proceed for a safari into the jungle.
Day 13 Chitwan / Kathamandu Return to Kathmandu to
catch up on your last minute shopping. Farewell dinner in
a traditional Nepalese way. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 Nepal / India Transfer to airport for flight
to Delhi where Day Rooms are booked at hotel close to the
airport until your departure. Transfer to airport in time
to board the return flight back home.
